About Us

Oncology Physician Resource (OPR) is a LLC founded by physicians in Michigan.  It is wholly owned by physician members and does not look for corporate sponsorship or equity funding.

OPR is governed by physicians with a practice administrator liaison on the Board of Directors.

Members are currently in three (3) states – Michigan, Ohio and Missouri.  Since its inception, we have maintained our original practices and have added several others.

The premise behind the creation of OPR was quite simple – By physicians … For physicians.  We have taken a secure stand on several items:

• All OPR members pay the same price for their drugs. Pricing must be competitive enough for the large practices and offered to small and mid-sized practices.  The large practices are not getting a special deal at the cost of others.
• All OPR members select the protocols and drugs they prefer and do not have to use what the next guy is using.
• Opportunities for other sources of revenue are offered to all practices – not just the large ones.
• OPR performs many of the tasks that had been delegated to practice staff members.  This allows your staff to do what they need to care for your patients.
• OPR runs very efficiently and without a lot of overhead.
• At the end of each year, OPR makes a full accounting to members as required by Federal Law.
